Books changed my life. Mandy by Julie Andrews Edwards was the first chapter book I ever read; I dreamt of my own little cottage in the woods where I could read books, drink tea, and go on nature walks. In Scotland at University, I read Rabbie Burns and Liz Lochhead, drank Scottish breakfast tea with milk, and went for walks along the North Sea. I lived my Mandy dream.
Now, seventeen years later with a degree from the University of St Andrews in English and Modern History, I am determined to continue living my other dreams, my Jill Bialosky, Anais Nin, HD, and Mina Loy dreams. I want to work in books and writing. Thus, I am accepting books for review.

Book Review Policies
I accept galleys and Ebooks. I respond to every single pitch that I receive, however, I may not write agree to write a review. I may instead offer to interview the author, offer a guest post, or simply decline the book. If I decide to review the book, I will publish the review within 4 to 6 weeks of receiving it. I am primarily interested in reviewing small and indie presses, debut authors, and diverse characters.
I write honest reviews, this is not for money, but for the love of books! I want to help publicize great books and exciting authors, I want to discuss ideas share new perspectives on life, and encourage freedom of expression.
The best way to contact me is by email at email@example.com. I respond to every single review request. If you would like the review published on a specific date, I need the book at least 4 weeks in advance.
I will also publish the review on Goodreads and Amazon, and share it on my Facebook page.
Readings, Events, Book Tours, and Festival Reviews
I also review book readings, events, book tours, and festivals. I love live events, especially book related ones. I love events that bring the community together and I believe it is important to document them, as well as provide feedback. I also write fun narratives and poems about events as well.
