How to Value Your Own Thoughts – Discussion

As part of Literary March, I’ve been writing a series of posts about how the literature festivals have helped me to tell my story.

On April 9, 2019 – there will be a sharing and discussion of my journey where I will give birth to the book I have created about my trip called “How to Value Your Own Thoughts.”

The idea behind the event is to bring people together to start a conversation about the importance of listening to yourself and believing in your ideas, even if no one else does. The idea is to create a supportive community to encourage you in your own ideas, thoughts, and development, and to share our experiences.

I have created a forum to facilitate the discussion, a Facebook group, and a hashtag – #valueyourthoughts.

“Be who you are and say what you mean, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”

Dr Seuss

Use #valueyourthoughts to:

  • share thoughts that you would like to discuss
  • quotes that inspire you
  • surveys or polls that you’d like to responses for
  • writing, reading, or speaking opportunities for people to share their thoughts.
